This news report was dedicated to the case of missing Madeleine McCann. In this story, the main topic was about the police re-opening the case of the missing toddler due to more development in the investigation of her disappearance. The field reporter is a middle aged white woman  who is dressed formally and is quite involved in the story as she is reporting the recent events to the studio and is being a voice over throughout the story. The news reporters location was in the Lisbon where she was kidnapped and the footage is live. Her accent shows she is from Britain and sounds very educated because she is well spoken, she also has a strict tone of voice indicated that the story is quite important. There was no vox-poppers but one interviewee during this story whom was a member of the home secretary, her persona showed her to be an important and well educated woman. She stated -- Lastly, there was actuality footage shown throughout the report, it was pre-recorded home footage of Madeleine McCann months before the holiday to Praia da Luz. 

This is an American news reports based on a video that went viral of 3 men harassing and brutally attacking a fellow commuter on the train. The field reporters was a middle aged white man and in this news story, they were dressed quite formally in the report to show that he was educated and serious in this investigation. The footage was live and pre-recorded in this story: the live footage was shown of the reporter outside either the scene of the crime or a hospital where the victim was taken too, the pre-recorded footage shows the interviewer showing the video to pedestrians and listening to their thoughts of the situation. It is clear based on their accents that it was filmed and broadcast in Northern America and the report states it was in New York. The presenter's mode of address was quite serious as he was trying to imply that the case is quite important. The graphics shown in this news report was quite minor, the common graphic was of the news reporters names appearing on the screen, showing where they are located and what news company they are with. In this story, there was vox poppers begin shown the video and asked about the opinion, most people said they were shocked and horrified by the event and that they need to be caught. The actuality footage was the main part of the story because the public had to see what exactly happened. Seeing as the footage wasn't recorded by the news channel and by a commuter, they list it as "Amateur Video" to show that it isn't their own recording and they can't be responsible for the poor quality of whatever is shown. At the end of the report, the reporter signs out listing his name, location and company name.
