Production Log Week 6

What changes have you made since your last entry?

I had to re-film some shots and make more cutaways and noddies to add in my documentary but I eventually completed the majority of my editing work by Monday, which was the deadline.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Sir gave us a few more days to complete the documentary because people were realising they had missed things out of their documentary. I noticed my documentary was only 3 minutes long so I had to do some re-shooting and editing to increase the time and make it up the 5 minutes it had to be.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome?

No technical challenges

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

I have finished making my documentary and met the new deadline. Even though time was given to us to make further adjustments, I honestly had no hope that I would even complete filming by the deadline let alone finish editing so I quite proud of myself.

Production Log Week 5

What changes have you made since your last entry?

I only need to do voice recordings and then I can start editing. I need to finish this asap because the deadline is in two days and I have two days to edit everything together. This is making me slightly stressed out because I'm starting to rush and when I rush, my work slacks and looks messy so I am trying to quicken up my pace but stay calm.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

There has been no time for me to edit on the Macs and now the Year 11's are having their 'Live Day' for media meaning all the Macs and equipment is out of use do to the students using them.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome?

No technical challenges

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

I aim to finish everything by Monday, it is not a realistic goal but it is positive and i'm trying to stay positive throughout this documentary so I keep the motivation to carry on and finish it rather than give up.

Production Log Week 4

What changes have you made since your last entry?

Since my last entry, I have started filming and have completed all the written word that had to be done over the holidays. I intend on filming all my interviews over the week and start editing so it can be finished for the deadline.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

None of the experts I intended on interviewing ever got back to me so I had to improvise by getting interviews of other people to try and make up the minutes of my documentary and too also get a different opinion.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome?

I have missed out of editing time by leaving the SD card at home a few times so I have had to use that time any missing things out of my documentary like cut aways and long shots.

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

I intend on completing my voice recordings and filming then start editing as soon as possible. The deadline has been postponed meaning I have a little more time left.

Production Log Week 3

What changes have you made since your last entry?

I have completed all of my work on blogger so now I need to wait until Friday to get Mrs Lowndes to check and approve my work so I can get a camera and tripod to film.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

I have still got no responses regarding interviews and I cannot wait any longer because I am wasting filming time, so I am going to go with Plan B and interview my friends and voxpoppers close to my location so I do not waste money or time.


What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome?

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

I aim to have finished filming all my interviews on time regardless if it's plan A or B and start editting so I do not miss the deadline.

Production Log Week 2

What progress did you make since your previous entry?

I have completed some late work that had to be done and half of the Christmas holiday work.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

I had been ill for half of the Christmas holidays so I could not finish most of the work, this mean when I get back to school I will need to finish the work so Mrs Lowndes can approve it and give me a camera so I can film. I have also had no responses from me interviewee's still, I have thought of an alternative solution in worst case scenario where I will film my friends who procrastinate and get voxpoppers opinions on the topic.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome?

I had completed all the work on my tablet and uploaded it to blogger, when I returned to school and checked my blogger there was no work uploaded meaning I had to re-type and upload all of my late and recent work.

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

I aim to finish the work and review it before uploading it so it is actually uploaded to blogger. This will save me a lot of time meaning I can film and edit.

What changes have you made since your last entry?

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

I have not had any responses back from my interviewees' regarding when we can arrange a date to film which is irritating as there is a deadline that must be completed by toward the end of the month. I have also been ill which has prevented me from doing the work we had to complete over the christmas holidays.

What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome?

I didn't have any technical issues because I do not have any filming equipment yet

What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?

I am aiming to complete all the work over the holidays so I when I
return to school, all of my work will be on blogger and I can film.
